About Integrity Watch Liberia (IWL)
Integrity Watch Liberia (IWL) is a Liberian civil society organization focused on promoting transparency, accountability, anti-corruption, and good governance through technology-driven advocacy and citizen engagement. Founded in 2017, the organization works across Liberia to strengthen democratic governance, monitor public spending, and promote integrity in politics, natural resource management, and public institutions.
IWL uses digital tools, data analysis, and grassroots participation to fight corruption and improve public accountability. One of its major initiatives is the Citizens Corruption Reporting Platform (CCRP), developed in partnership with the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC), which allows citizens to report corruption cases using mobile phones and online platforms.
The organization also works on fiscal transparency, gender-responsive budgeting, electoral integrity, peacebuilding, and natural resource governance.
